Stihl Vs Husqvarna Chainsaw - Which Chainsaw Will You Choose?

!±8± Stihl Vs Husqvarna Chainsaw - Which Chainsaw Will You Choose?

There are two chainsaw that are comparable, and many opinions about which one is better, so let's take a little closer look at them both. The Stihl vs. Husqvarna Chainsaw comparison have been debated for many years and is a hard pick to make, in the end will probably never be answered. But on the whole both are sound saws that will be cutting trees down for a great many years, but they both have good and regretfully bad sides to them.

The Stihl Chainsaw has been an asset for farmers and loggers alike. It is a great saw but it does have some downfalls such as starting and warranty. Well one big problem that Stihl has is starting even when they are new if you run it all the way out of gas you will have to pull and pull to get it started again. When it gets a little age on the saw it will get harder and harder to start. That is a big complaint that a great many Stihl owners have and the other problem is the gas and oil caps are hard to get back on. The operator can end up a lot of times with gas or oil all over one side of their leg. Last but not least the warranty is less than a year, but not surprising because of the starting problems. In a good light once you get it running it will flat out eat the trees for breakfast.

The Husqvarna Chainsaw is a great saw as well with a longer warranty and it really cuts trees well. It is not typical to have many starting problems either, although some are having starting issue when it gets a little age on it. The main complaint with it is that it runs at to high of an RPM, by running so high it does not seem to have the torque of a Stihl saw. It cuts good but tends to bog when you bear in to a tree; if you don't mind cranking a saw till your arm is sore and then if you run it out of gas having to crank once again. Then the Stihl would be the saw for you.

IF you looking for a little more warranty and don't mind every time you really put it in a tree having to back off of a bit because it bogs all the time, then a Husqvarna maybe more your cup of tea.

The Stihl vs Husqvarna Chainsaw will be a tough choice to make but all in all are both are good saws that will work hard for a great many years, but they both have good and bad sides to them. Whichever you decide to buy we wish you the best of luck and safety with all you tree cutting endeavours.
